So there is a lot of hype about Aloe…

Estheticians and Beauty Professionals everywhere recommend aloe for treatments of hair, skin and nails. And if you google ‘aloe’ in your search bar, there are over a million results with endless claims of Aloe’s healing powers. And if you have incorporated it into your beauty ritual, you can testify the there are some pretty immediate and very real results. nmua_aloeAloe has been dated back to the time of Egypt, they believed that is was a sort of “elixir of the gods” when paired with honey, orange juice, turmeric and cinnamon. But this post is not about to gut aloe or “how to make your own” anything…More of that in future post. If were are to learn of aloe, we need to understand them term ‘delivery systems’ and what that mean in the beauty industry…because lets face it, you can’t escape using some type of beauty product…and you might as well be informed, Right?  Right. A delivery system is how the product will b absorbed by the body on a molecular level. Every delivery system has what is referred to as a host or carrier. Aloe Vera Gel is a one of the top carriers because the inner gel matches the molecular compound to our own human cells, which makes it readily absorbed in the body and adds to whatever cells are missing hydration.

The Aloe Gel is the same composition as our human cells….it becomes what your skin, hair and nails need.

Oils that are thick, such as Castor or Olive feel greasy on skin because the molecules are too big to penetrate between skin cells. The Aloe breaks down the thickness of the oils so that they may be delivered deeper into the and more readily adsorbed by the body. Aloe is great on it own, but its ability to safely carry oils to deep into the epidermis makes it one of the best natural remedies you can use regularly or in between going to get a facial. Hence the term ‘delivery systems’.

Aloe has been around for centuries and had been know to help heal and manage skin conditions such as dandruff, eczema, reduce the look of stretch marks, oral health…the list goes on and on.
