I spent this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada at the International Beauty Show. It was so much to take in. It was such a great experience for me. There was so many products and so many other beauty professinals…it literally left me in awe!
I share because clients & also random people ask me what they can do to improve hair, skin & nails…walnuts is my go to super food. Below is a little info graph with a few of the proven benefits of adding walnuts to your diet
Add honey for a quick sweet snack or to salads to add nutty flavor.
There are many benefits to using rose water in your daily beauty regiment. Below are just a few ways you can add a little luxury in your life:
-Facial Toner
-Make Up Remover
-Natural Fragrance
-Hair Mist
-Herbal Tea
-Stress Reduction
This super simple recipe really hydrates your skin & hair while leaving a light fresh scent. Personally, I mix it with Aloe +Jojoba in a spray bottle & I just spray my hair or anywhere I notice extra dryness.

Lately, I’ve been hearing about using Rice Water to strengthen hair…Apparently, the cloudy water holds nutrients that repair the hair cuticle….I’m not gonna get all sciencey about it but I will tell you what I did and the results…which I am very happy with.
I’m always looking for budget friendly at home remedies to recommend to my clients. All beauty industry professionals will tell you that at home maintenance extends the life of any salon and spa services, giving you the best bang for your buck.
So firstly, my hair strands are thin & curly, but I have a lot of it! Also, I round brush it aka blow dry with my ion Ionic Conditioning Hair Dryer & finish it off with with my ion Magnesium Flat Iron during the winter and wear it natural during the summer…I wash my hair with castle soap or vinegar one a week and I condition with Aloe Vera + Jojoba a few times a week…just to give you an idea of my “hair history”….
But moving right along….
Earth Essentials: Castle Soap
I added 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice and let it sit over night.
I poured the cloudy water my hair, covered it with a plastic cap
I towel dried my hair afterwards and added aloe together with jojoba, lavender and frankincense…I have a pre-made hot oil mixture that I have on hand.
NailMUA: Rice Water + Lavender Hot Oil
In conclusion…
My hair feels SO SOFT!!…and the rice water help repair a lot of heat damage. My scalp feels clean and free of build up. I noticed my curl patterned returned and my hair felt fuller and thicker, especially at the ends. Super rejuvenating and refreshing.
Has anyone else ever tried this? Let me know your thoughts and experiences!
